Hyunshin: Black & Pink 623 credits

Beautiful contrast, excellent colors! These colors are *exactly* what I was looking for, and the texture detail in the black section is extraordinarily SUPERB! The pink loses some of the contrast and the feeling that you can see each individual strand that the black has, but there's still separation there, too.^^ And the way a few individual strands of pink streak up into the black is very effective, and really demonstrates an extra touch of talent that sets tenshi23's Hyunshin apart.^^ Aside from the "clumpier" look, the pink also gets much more "pixelly" than a version of this same hairstyle I have in solid black. This hairstyle is, I imagine, very difficult to texture, especially with an intensely bright color, because of the way the individual strands are defined by the mesh at the ends. The detail is here if you look very closely, but the contrast between shades of pink isn't quite sharp enough to stop them from blending together and looking "messy" at the ends. That said, the black part is *perfect*, and if you want these colors, there's none better at the time of this review.^^ If the pink had the same contrast as the black, I'd have to give this "infinite jalapenos" because of tenshi23's very original and very beautiful style.^^ But with the way the pink "mucks up" compared to another that I have, I can't in good conscience give this the same perfect score that I give the other. This style and artistic expression *far* exceeds the solid black one that I have. It is only the contrast/definition in the pink area that holds me back from a "better-than-perfect" review.^^ In the end, though, the style won me over. This is definitely worth purchasing, or I wouldn't have.^^
