I am a big fan of traditional Asian-style clothing. So needless to say I have a BIG collection I've amassed over the years on IMVU of kimonos, kanzashi's, nezashi's, hair sticks, etc etc. I thought I had pretty much seen them all and wasn't too impressed with the latest offerings of kimonos.
But wow! This kimono is amazing, esp considering it's in a furisode design. The texture is amazing and the flower design is simply gorgeous. The furisode sleeves obviously don't drape and stick out behind you awkwardly when your hands are behind you. But that is an issue with all furisode designs I've seen on IMVU. Guess nothing can be done to fix it. ~sigh~
But in any case, if you are looking for a new kimono but are bored with the other creators' work u've seen, try this one on. The quality is amazing. It drapes well, doesn't make u're breasts look huge (a complaint I have with some kimono designers) and allows your subtle curves to show through, esp when walking.
I can't wait to see if Heather designs any Chinese-style kimonos as I would love to add some new ones with this quality to my collection.
