The texture is modest and smooth, but still shows that there was effort put into the product. It may not go with the typical seizure-inducing rave rooms with bright, disagreeing lights, but really fits well in more vintage and conservative rooms. It doesn't scream at you when you walk into the room, but it definitely makes a noticeable change for the better (or at least will make a smooth transition between door-less rooms).
